She is skilled in Environmental Planning and Management, having been involved in Stakeholder Engagement and Technical advisory roles in different sectoral development projects in the country She is to keen to putting her wealth of knowledge in these fields to ensure Sustainable Development in the society
About Katima
Katima describes herself as passionate and committed to putting her wealth of knowledge to ensure Sustainable Development in the Society. She is an Environmental and Social Governance Consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental service industry where has successfully led teams in conducting ESIA studies and Environmental & Social Due diligence for investment projects in Kenya under PPP financing module for:
- Ministry of Treasury
- Ministry of Health
- Donor-funded projects i.e. those funded by the UKAID, DFID by British government, World Bank, IFC
- Private sector.
Katima has served as a Project Manager, Project Coordinator, Stakeholder Engagement Expert and Technical advisor in different sectoral development projects in the country including Oil& Gas Industry, Energy Sector, Water and Sanitation sector, and Health Sector.
She is skilled in Environmental Planning and Management, Clean Development Mechanism Implementation, GIS, Client Liaison, Conducting Livelihood Restoration and developing Resettlement Action Plan, Conducting thorough compliance evaluation inspections to achieve both business and environmental goals, Gender Mainstreaming & Social Inclusion implementation, Strategic Planning and Leadership.

Her aim in this field is to assist vulnerable communities enjoy a clean and healthy environment by ensuring that producers adopt safer models and product designs that ensure human and environmental protection against harm or pollution.
